Customer requirement
The customer was expanding from film blowing and woven bag production into hollow plastic packaging. The target products were 20L and 30L chemical drums for formic acid packaging and storage.
Because the customer was new to hollow blow molding, the project needed a complete solution covering product quality, production stability, energy cost, and future factory planning.

HS-30L machine solution
Tongda recommended the HS-30L electro-hydraulic hybrid extrusion blow molding machine. The machine combines a 30-ton clamping system, servo hydraulic control, precise parison control, and automated trimming support for chemical drum production.
The 80mm, 30:1 high-efficiency plasticizing screw improves mixing and plasticizing performance, while the patented composite flow-channel die head helps keep wall thickness more even and product surfaces smoother.

Automated production support
The project plan also included material handling, conveying, cooling and shaping, and online leak testing. This helps the customer build a more stable production line instead of relying only on a single machine.
For chemical packaging, the automated leak test is especially important because every drum must keep reliable sealing performance before delivery.
