Tailor-Made for Russia: EH800A for 2L and 3L Laundry Detergent Bottles

A double-station, three-head electro-hydraulic blow molding machine, configured around the customer's bottles, production requirements and operating language.

Customized on demand, precisely matched. For this Russian laundry detergent bottle project, Tongda configured the EH800A fully automatic electro-hydraulic multi-head blow molding machine for 2L and 3L containers, combining a three-head layout with automated handling and a trilingual control interface.

01 / Customer requirements

Tailored for Russian Customers' 2L and 3L Laundry Bottles

The design starts with the product rather than asking the customer to compromise around a standard machine. This project addresses three practical concerns:

  • Material variation that can require repeated machine adjustments.
  • Selecting an appropriate process and configuration to increase output.
  • Providing an operator interface that Russian-speaking staff can use.

02 / Multi-head production

High Output with a Custom Multi-Head Design

Die-head center distance, mold transfer stroke and clamping adjustment range are matched to the bottle and tooling requirements. The project combines a 100 mm screw with a three-head configuration to produce three laundry detergent bottles in each molding operation.

Configuration and bottle data supplied for this project
Mold transfer stroke800 mm
Clamping adjustment range270–620 mm
Screw diameter100 mm
3L bottle weight140 g ± 3 g
Reported cycle time12 s

These figures describe the supplied project configuration. Actual output depends on the material, mold, cooling conditions and production setup; cycle time alone is not an hourly-output guarantee.

03 / Drive and control

Precision Energy Saving with an Electro-Hydraulic Hybrid Drive

The electro-hydraulic configuration coordinates the drive and control systems around the machine's operating requirements.

Hydraulics: Sumitomo servo pump and Yuken valve

The servo pump supplies oil on demand. Compared with a conventional fixed-displacement arrangement, the design is intended to reduce unnecessary hydraulic work and oil temperature while supporting component service life.

Control system: Mitsubishi PLC and Inovance modules

The control configuration coordinates machine actions for responsive, stable operation, helping reduce incorrect movements and rejected products.

Wall-thickness control: Moog system

The wall-thickness control system adjusts parison distribution to support consistent bottle walls and efficient use of material, avoiding unnecessary thickness while addressing thin areas.

04 / Quality and automation

Precision Clamping and Full-Process Automation

Multi-point clamping distributes the 220 kN clamping force across the mold, supporting consistent parting lines and bottle quality. The automated process connects forming, handling, trimming and inspection.

Scrap is removed alongside production and recovered through the process. The supplied photographs also show integrated weighing and leak inspection.

05 / Manufacturing details

Fine Craftsmanship, Down to the Finished Bottle

Polished stainless steel die head

The die flow channels are precision-ground and polished. The supplied specification states a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8. The polished passages are designed to support smooth parison flow with less resistance and a more consistent bottle finish.

Beryllium copper blow pins

The specified blow-pin material supports heat transfer, wear resistance and temperature stability during continuous production. The source material quotes thermal conductivity of three to four times that of ordinary steel and a service-life improvement of more than two times; these comparisons depend on the materials and operating conditions.

Finished-product detail verification

The bottle details show a flat neck cut with clean edges and a smooth parting line along the body. These are practical inspection points for the finished laundry detergent bottle.

Global Adaptation for the Installation Site

The supplied project material describes a machine built to CE requirements, a Chinese / English / Russian operator interface, and a 380V / 50Hz / three-phase power configuration with aviation-style connectors.
